As a diver on my college Swim and Dive team, I had a good amount of free time during competitions. During my freshman year I was able to borrow a camera for a photojournalism class, and I ended up using that camera to take some photos of my teammates. This sparked a passion for photography that fuels my work even today!
As well, my time as an athlete informs and guides my work. Everything from lighting, framing, to plainly what looks good and what doesnt, is seen through the lens of someone who has experienced the thrill, frustration, and achievement that comes with being an athlete.
